Dr. Vasal is a Senior Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychologist with over 25 years of experience in Healthcare (special needs) and Education.
She has earned honours in child development, a bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s degree in psychology. She has done her doctorate in human development and family studies from MS University of Baroda.
She has undertaken certifications in super-specialised areas such as Gifted Education (Purdue University), The TEACCH method for autistic children (University of North Carolina), Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) administration & measurement, (University of Southern California).
Dr. Prerna Mohite, Ph.D.
Professor Emeritus, Department of Human Development and Family Studies, M S University of Baroda
Prof Mohite has over three decades of experience in Child/Human development with specialization in Early Child Development and Education. She has worked in key dimensions of early education - curriculum for infants and pre-schoolers, assessment, pedagogy, training Early Childhood Education and Care (ECCE) personnel, learning disability, development of learning materials for children, training manuals for teachers training, development of tools and tests of assessment and other related areas.
She has advised / been associated with International and Indian organisations of repute - NCERT, Indian Council of Social Sciences, Indian council of Agriculture, WHO, UNICEF.
Further, she has been a consultant to Governments of Yemen, Philippines, Maldives, Thailand and Malaysia on various aspects of ECCE.
